A Poem

I am a river.
You are a river.
Both our rivers is the Cauvery river.

For the sky there is no ladder.
For the ocean there is no bridge.
For our friendship there is no end

asha's card
You are very good. You are good to us. From you, we have survived. If you are not here, we would not survive. We fold our hands (in namaste) to you. Whatever we do for you, it's much less. You are our prana (life). You are more than my mother, because you have helped her to live. You are like both father and mother to me because you are looking after me. Our people are not like this. But you are helping us so much. Love, Asha
  • A touching note from a street mom in our program: “From Mother Kumari. When you have come and helped us and our children in footpath, and our life has changed forever. Thank you. We bless you live hundred years. To our English Aunty.”
